it’s unfortunate how the older we get the more unattached we become with our “friends” people tend to fade away as responsibilities pile up. somedays we wake up feeling hopeless and other days hopeful. thinking back it’s sort of funny how eager i was to grow up and face the world. my vision seems to be blurred as i continue to walk to my next destination. I’m afraid of the mistakes I’ll make, the people I’ll lose, the moments I can’t take back. nonetheless I press my two fingers to feel the pulse of my own heart and life seems to clear up a bit.
